I changed the scope of project shortly after the initial estimate and was told that the plumber could do the revised work as scheduled. He arrived after the two-hour window and then said he could only provide an estimate for the changed scope, not do the work. I also think you should inform customers in advance that you charge a $99 fee for estimates. I was never notified of this fee and on first visit (for initial estimate) the plumber tried to charge me for it, but I refused and the fee was waived. On the second visit, the plumber made a point to tell me he was waiving the fee since I was so disappointed in the job not being done - as if I would have paid such a fee under these circumstances. I am a very understanding consumer, and rarely complain about bad service. Your plumbers seemed nice and the scheduling staff are very nice, but these communication lapses have negatively impacted my project and have not reflected well on your business."

Doesn't seem fair to me, and I would explore other options and probably not suggest to others to use your service."

Stephanie is repetitive and was not successful in reaching staff while my basement flooded. What is the point of emergency service? What is the point of me paying a monthly fee for emergency service? Renee was initially better than Stephanie but was worse because she took twenty minutes to get her computer working and was also unable to reach personnel to assist. Again, same questions. When Donna contacted me after 7 am it was no longer feasible for me to have an emergency technician because I am an essential Federal Employee. So I confirmed the 6pm to 8pm appointment with Donna that I made with Renee. Renee informed me I would get a confirmation email for my appointment. Donna confirmed I would receive a confirmation email. That email has yet to arrive. I'm not waiting for it. Next, Stephanie and Renee and Donna ALL said the technician would contact me shortly before arriving. That did not happen. Please know this NEVER happens and EVERY office personnel member claims this to be true and EVERY technician explains the OPPOSITE; the office personnel are supposed to contact me shortly before the technician arrives. DA Bennett has many flaws. To review thus far, emergency technicians CAN'T be reached during NON office hours. BIG flaw. Office and technician personnel state opposite information about calls before arrival. ANNOYING flaw. NO EMAIL confirmation is also an ANNOYING flaw. Written confirmation is expected and doesn't arrive. Next, for the past two consecutive times I have had DA Bennett services at my house not only did was a phone call just prior to the technician's arrival NOT provided, but also both technicians arrived at my home 15 minutes early. Early is lovely but I was NOT home until 5 minutes BEFORE each window of arrival START time so your technicians twiddled their thumbs. This is another FLAW; poor SCHEDULING and poor DISPATCH. I'm informing DA Bennett of these flaws because I AM VERY CONCERNED THAT I MAY HAVE A HEATING EMERGENCY IN THE FUTURE (I HOPE NOT!!!) AND WHEN TECHNICIANS CAN'T BE REACHED I WILL END UP WITH FROZEN PIPES. WHY AM I PAYING FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE ONLY TO HAVE ZERO TECHNICIANS ANSWER A PHONE? IT'S MORE OF THE SAME FROM OVER A YEAR AGO WHEN MY EMAIL MESSAGES WERE NEVER ANSWERED. So, how will these flaws and problems be corrected? When will these flaws and remedies be corrected? Will I be contacted and be reassured I should stay with DA Bennett service and IF a winter emergency happens a technician WILL BE REACHED."
