Midland Air Service Experts was delighted to volunteer with the Midlands Ride for Kids a few weeks ago. This marks the second year that Midland Air has volunteered for this wonderful event that gives all the proceeds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, the top nonprofit financing research into childhood brain tumors. The proceeds fund free education resources, college scholarships for brain tumor survivors, and emergency financial support for families.
Midland Air Service Experts donated $1000 to this wonderful cause and the nationwide event has collected over half-a-million dollars. Rebecca Jumper, Midland Air’s PLUS Maintenance Agreement Specialist, has been helping with the event since 2014 and her father’s motorcycle group rides in the Midlands Ride for Kids each year.
“My dad’s riding group gets involved every year because they can have fun and ride motorcycles, all for this wonderful cause.” Check out Rebecca’s dad below with his 2016 rider:
The generous motorcycle riders may do it for fun, but Midland Air Service Experts doesn’t have as many motorcycle riders. “We just do it to help the kids,” said Rebecca.
Midland Air adores being involved in their community and participating in great events like the Midlands Ride for Kids. To discover more about how you can get involved and help the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, check out their site.
